Elementary Only
PTOs may sponsor a 5th grade celebration. It must take place on school property and cost no more than $50 per 5th grader regardless of parent contributions and donations. The PTO contribution, if any, is an out-of-cap expense.
Off property celebrations may not be paid for or supported by the PTOs and may not be advertised in e-newsletters or via backpacks.
5th Grade Class Gift
- The PTOs may contribute a class gift to the school on behalf of the 5th graders
- The cost cannot exceed $2000 and is considered an out-of-cap expense
